Snappy Fax Server Version 2.0 Features
General
- Windows Vista compatibility
User Interface
- Visible horizontal tabs have been replaced with a Tree View navigation pane
- True folders have been implemented allowing for easy organization of sent and received faxes, folders and subfolders can be nested to any depth
- Office 11 style toolbars and menus have been implemented
- Tray Application behaviour is now standard (click close button causes minimize to tray)
- Deleting sent and received faxes are now handle by a "move to trash" and "empty trash" metaphor
Additional Functionality
- Remote Assistant functionality is now included in the fax server, it is no longer a separate product priced separately
- Integrated HTML fax reporting and send to webserver for viewing with web browser
- With Remote Assistant, you'll find it quite easy to setup your company's own "eFax" system
- Integrated Archive Manager with much improved automatic archiving capabilities
- Clients can now automatically import incoming faxes
Security
- Security options have been added to require password for printing or viewing faxes or setting options have been added
- Options to require password access on startup has been added
Fax Reports
- New report generator can export reports to .pdf, .xls, .rtf, .html, .txt, .xml, .bmp, .jpeg or .tiff files
